Mrs Cintia Betiza Koroma. Was a lecturer at the University of Management and Technology, and now a full time lecturer at the University of Sierra Leone (IPAM). She was born in Praia, Cape Verde, a small West African country made up of islands. She’s happily married to a Sierra Leonean husband with two children. She holds a prestigious degree in English Linguistics, from the University of Paraiba-Brasil, 2010. A masters of science (M.Sc) in Public Administration, from China University of Geoscience- China, 2014. She is a committed and self-motivated senior lecturer.
She has been in academia for the past ten years, teaching students from different levels, age, cultural and social background, and from different countries as well. She has taught in Cape Verde, Brazil, China and Sierra Leone, which enabled her to gain an extended and diverse teaching experience. Accustomed to working in a multicultural environment, she understands and emphasises the importance of inclusion, and the achievement of social justice through education.
